Really great location in the middle of Playa de carmen. Walking distance to 5th Avenue and the local beach and several restaurants. Supermarket right below the hotel. Really comfortable rooms and wonderful rooftop pool which we really enjoyed. Only reasons to not give it a 10/10 are 1) lack of any kind of concierge / tourist info at the reception- at the least they could have tie ups with travel agents that they can point us to in a touristy town like this. Basically, make your own plans and don’t count on suggestions from the hotel 2) the breakfast is strictly ok - there are several cafes around so a good tip is to not include breakfast in the room rate.

We really enjoyed the size of the room with nice seating and a table! We also valued the large windows and balcony with a city view over the soccer field. We liked having a fridge in the room too. The best amenity is definitely the roof top pool. It was really spectacular with great views. We also used the gym and it was well appointed and better than almost all hotel gyms that we have used. The staff was very friendly and happy. Dino, at the front desk was especially helpful at check-in. The location is central to great restaurants and activities in Playa Del Carmen.

Happy with my choice to stay here in the end. The rooms are very comfortable, the beds in particular, and it was nice to be in real 'hotel' after a couple of weeks traveling through Mexico, with good bathroom and shower and pristine cleanliness. We had a balcony with a view across town which was nice. Good sized room. Really loved the toiletries in the shower. Pool area was pretty great too. It's in a good location - while on a busy street corner you do not notice that while you are in the hotel and it is very convenient to walk to the main shopping drag.

The location is perfect, as it is in a new shopping development with a bunch of restaurants, shops, supermarket etc. in the same complex. It comes with its underground parking and has in /out privileges with the hotel room key. Check-in staff late at night was amazing and made us feel welcome while we waited. The room was amazing, with a great king bed, a sofa and a great bathroom. The bath had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner (a first in Mexico for us). The mattress was comfortable.

it’s brand new so it was very clean and the aloft brand is general is always very cute decor with a modern youthful vibe. it’s also super close to everything but not so close that the noise from 5th keeps you up at night. the rooftop pool is also very nice with well priced drinks at the bar.
